“ Food is so fresh and delicious. Huge portions. Well known for balsamic dressing, mussles, fresh fried calamari, and of course pizza. Chicken murphy, chicken parm, Christmas chicken. Fresh pasta. Scallops, everyone enjoyed their meal. Santa came. Nice touch. Good job everyone!! ”
“ So we hang out next door at Garden State Distillery...that's another 5 Star review strictly for alcohol drinks...but you need good food when drinking so.... The wife and I order from the menu and bring back next door. The service at the cash register is always perfect. They are very busy at the register and also taking orders over the phone. But they always get the orders right. Last time there I had a Sausage Stromboli large. It is cooked in a very light almost like a biscuit casing. It is dough and I'm not describing it correctly... Sausage, mushrooms, and cheese. Never had it like this elsewhere...and OMG it is so good. The wife orders a Supremo al polo sandwich. It's Grilled chicken topped with fresh mozzarella cheese, roasted peppers & arugula. Wow . She loved it and I thought it looked really good too! Later on I got an order of Buffalo Calamari . It is again like the Stromboli breaded perfectly & prepared. Not chewy. Just So good. Capones does get busy and crowded inside so reservations may be needed and as an FYI it is closed on Sunday Thank you ! Oh and the staff is great. They seem to be hustling all the time but as I said I ate next door at Garden State Distillery ”
“ Capone's is a great local place where you can get great food for a good price. Portions are huge. Service is pretty good. Food is delicious. ”
“ Everything that we had, to include the bread, olives, olive oil, house salad dressing, to the dinner entree was awesome . And the lemon sorbet was most enjoyable in the end. We highly recommend Capone's. ”
“ During the summer, Toms River closes Washington St on Fridays and Saturdays for Downtown Night. The street is set up for outdoor dining by the surrounding restaurants, there's a band, vendors, and you can grab drinks from the distillery or brewery. We went down one night for dinner and most of the tables were filled or reserved so i recommend making reservations if you're planning to go. Luckily they were able to seat us indoors despite being very busy. The service was great as was the food. The Milanese was awesome--extremely thin and tasty. Portions were large and everyone enjoyed their meals. Being able to bring in drinks from Battleriver brewery was a bonus. Definitely recommend! ”
“ Food is excellent best pizza in Toms River by far and the prices are good too I will definitely be back ”
“ Just had their delicious chicken parm dinner. Delicious and a large portion. My only complaint is why no salad as they used to do. It's now salad or pasta??? Quick delivery too. ”
“ After six years since my last review, it's time for some new thoughts. Their pizza is just excellent and consistently so. I order delivery from them, and the delivery service is reliable. All the types of pizza I've ordered are delicious. Their dinners remain pretty good, too, just not quite on par with their pizza. If you go downtown on a Saturday evening, however, their table service remains popular. I said this in my last review, and I'll say it again. Their front end, pizzeria area needs a big remodel. It feels old, small, and cluttered. They could use some tables where you can just grab a slice and eat it without being pressured for table service. Although maybe you can do that, it doesn't feel that way. ”
